Additional Information

Brian Tucker established the Brian Tucker Accounting practice in 1980, having talked himself out of a senior-ish position with a multinational corporation and consequently joining the ranks of the unemployed. The practice, now called Creative Crunches, has a national reputation for its commitment to the arts, being a sponsor of many awards and events, a supporter of emerging practitioners and groups, and an advocate for the arts in Australia in many forums.

A registered company auditor and CPA, Brian is presently Treasurer of the Arts Law Centre of Queensland, Elision, the Regional Galleries Association of Queensland, Museums Australia (Queensland), Brisbane Youth Service, Youth Arts Queensland, the Children’s Book Council and Playlab. He has also sat on the Board or Committee of the Institute of Modern Art, Viscopy, Flying Arts, the Queensland Performing Arts Trust and the Queensland Writers Centre.
